From your buying brief to shipment from Japan

Receive a shortlist and cost structure

Before you approve a purchase, we agree on fees, Japan-side logistics, shipping route, and delivery terms.
Approve the bid or stock offer
You set the maximum bid or confirm a stock offer. Our team completes the purchase and settlement in Japan.

Inspect and prepare the vehicle
After purchase, we follow the agreed preparation instructions and check the vehicle before export handling begins.
The vehicle is deregistered, moved to the export yard or port, and prepared for loading.
Book the shipment and receive documents
We book the vessel, coordinate loading, and provide shipment details and tracking.
Your UAE broker receives the invoice, export certificate, bill of lading, and other Japan-side documents required for local clearance.

Confirm UAE eligibility before we bid
Tell us the destination emirate and share your local broker’s requirements. We will use them when shortlisting vehicles; the UAE importer remains responsible for final local approval.
Arrival document set
Confirm the invoice, packing list, bill of lading, importer identification, and any broker-specific documents before shipment.
Customs value and taxes
The standard customs duty is 5% of the assessed value and the standard VAT rate is 5%. Ask your broker to calculate the amount for your company, route, and transaction type.
Steering position
For standard road registration, UAE buyers normally need left-hand-drive stock. Rules for right-hand-drive and classic vehicles must be confirmed in the destination emirate.
VIN and damage status
Use the MoIAT Product Status Statement to check the VIN before shipment. Vehicles in prohibited serious-damage categories cannot be registered for normal road use.
Roadworthiness inspection
The vehicle must pass the inspection required by the competent authority in the emirate where it will be registered.
Insurance and registration
After clearance and inspection, the local buyer arranges insurance, registration, licensing, and number plates. Check modifications and non-GCC specifications before purchase.

Dubai RTA does not allow standard registration of right-hand-drive vehicles; the stated exception is the classical-plate route.
Confirm the rule with the authority in the destination emirate before asking us to bid or ship.
Dubai RTA states that there is no general vehicle-age limit for registration in Dubai.
The vehicle must still satisfy the applicable status, inspection, insurance, and registration requirements. Check another emirate separately.
